1972 Schwinn Collegiate 5-speed in Sierra brown. This bike has had a light mechanical overhaul with all bearings greased, cables adjusted, fresh tires, and paint buffed and waxed. The wheels need some fine tuning, as the front one is slightly out of round and would benefit from being trued.
This bike is a mixture of original parts and donor parts from a 1974 model. It is a solid, rider-quality bike that shows its age gracefully. Couple dents in the fenders, some rust/chrome loss here and there on the wheels and crankset, and the usual chips and scratches you expect to see on a bike this age.
